CANTATICA A CAPPELLA
 
 
CANTATICA invites highly talented singers and instrumentalists to submit applications/audition for Northeastern Pennsylvania's newest professional choral/vocal and instrumental chamber ensemble. Positions are open on a concert by concert and concert season basis, with preference given to individuals interested in becoming permanent members of the ensemble.
 
There are both volunteer and paid positions with compensation based on education, experience and ability.
 
 
MEMBER QUALIFICATIONS

~ Exceptional performing skills
~ Classical training
~ Solo and ensemble performing experience
~ Strong musicianship and sight reading skills
~ Experience in and ability to perform a broad range of musical styles
~ Engaging stage presence
~ Dedicated, reliable, and friendly

VOICES AND INSTRUMENTS

 

Positions available for male and female singers and a variety of instrumentalists including piano, synthesizer, accordion, strings (violin, viola, cello, and bass - acoustic/electric), percussion, guitar, banjo, harp, and wind instruments (oboe, flute/pipes/recorder, clarinet, electronic wind instrument, etc.)
