| AUDITIONS 2011-2012 CONCERT SEASON Monica Vanderveen, Piano/Synthesizer CANTATICA, a dynamic new professional vocal and instrumental chamber ensemble, seeks highly talented singers and instrumentalists for its 2011-2012 concert season. Musicians must have an interest in and ability to perform a wide range of musical styles (classical, opera/show, jazz, folk/world, ambient, etc.) as both solo and ensemble artists (for singers, including an eight-voice chamber choir). Rehearsals and performances are held in Allentown and Philadelphia, PA areas. There are paid and vounteer positions with compensation being based on education, experience and ability. Some travel allotments are also made available. Young and emerging professional musicians especially encouraged to audition. Application forms available HERE. VOICES AND INSTRUMENTS Positions available for singers and a variety of instrumentalists including piano, synthesizer, accordion, strings, percussion, guitar, banjo, harp, and wind instruments (oboe, flute/pipes/recorder, clarinet, electronic wind instrument, etc.) Current CANTATICA musicians come from the Philadelphia, Reading, Allentown and Newark (NJ) areas.
